CGI was founded on November 1, 1993 by Mr. Bruce Bayley, CGA and Mr. Peter Harris, ACII, who between them have over 50 years experience in the Insurance Industry. In October 2004, we expanded and opened our headquarters in the CGI Tower, Warrens.

Products like “Agreed Value motor insurance” and “Automate and Homemate” among others have catapulted CGI to the forefront of the industry over the last two decades. CGI Insures over $4 Billion in property assets and occupies the #3 slot amongst local companies and is the second largest auto insurer with premium income of over $55 million annually. Annual claim payments are approximately $25 million.

Today in response to a challenging economic climate, we have again lead the industry with state of the art online services and the introduction of Monthly Insurance Plans which makes it possible for customers to pay their premiums in instalments within a payment schedule that suits them best.
